I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
While I am an economist by training, I am animated by the highly interdisciplinary study of elites and elite networks, especially recent approaches combining social network analysis and applied econometrics.
My work seeks to examine a range of important outcomes in contemporary political economy:
How do elite networks affect contemporary inequalities in wealth and power?
What is the role of elite social networks in facilitating economic coordination, collective action, and the diffusion of behavioral norms and ideas?
