Hello,

I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in the fall of 2024 and have since worked as a postdoctoral researcher for the University of St. Gallen.

While I am an economist by training, I am animated by the highly interdisciplinary study of elites and elite networks, especially recent approaches combining social network analysis and applied econometrics.

My work seeks to examine a range of important outcomes in contemporary political economy:

  • How do elite networks affect contemporary inequalities in wealth and power?

  • What is the role of elite social networks in facilitating economic coordination, collective action, and the diffusion of behavioral norms and ideas?

  • What is the economic value of ties among elites?
